Man that is a very fascinating video. I never seen this before. Something that intrigues me is how so many of the conspiracy theories use misinformation, and the real information gets glossed over. Let me just point out 2 things: first of all, Machiavelli never ‘faked his death’ , he was exiled for 10 years at which time he wrote The Prince and The Discourses… and the other thing is, they showed flashed of the video “Wonder if Heaven Got a Ghetto” and made a comment about “a video coming out just a few days after Tupac was pronounced ‘dead.’ Well “Wonder if Heaven Got a Ghetto” (the video about Tupac in fact surviving the Vegas shooting) didn’t come out until over a year later (in 1997). and it was “I Aint Mad Atcha” which came out the following week, this is the video with Bokeem Woodbine and Tupac getting shot in front of the theatre. 2 different videos, over a year a part. May not mean anything at all, but it sure is annoying when people get their facts wrong. The interesting thing about “I Aint Mad Atcha” also which could trump everything these guys are saying in the end (which you also believe Bran) that “Tupac needed to be in the spot light and couldn’t stay underground that long) is the fact that video is dedicated to Mutulu Shakur and Geronimo Pratt arguably the two most influential people in Tupac’s life. Both of whom served prison 20+ years as political prisoners. Mutulu of course served in part for the liberation of Assata Shakur, who yes does have political exile in Cuba since the 70’ (over 30 years). People get really caught up in the artist and the actor Tupac and forget about the Revolutionary Minded Genius, Prophet, and Soldier “Waging war for years, strategize with no fear”. Not saying Pac’s alive just saying people need they facts and historical context before they go theorizing .1

???...I really can't believe this aired...I find it kinda out of the ordinary seeing a mainstream network show study the possibility of Tupac being alive and even add that he was fascinated with numerology in the narration...but then again, having just looked at the purpose of the show..maybe its not out of the question....Nonetheless, I am still surprised at the breadth of coverage this small segment shows....

The mainstream defenitly needs to talk about different stuff not about 2pac being alive in physical body though because i know thats not true for the millionth time lol. but the end of that video sumed it up 2pac's to real to fake his death and people that knew him know that he wouldent do that like i said. those two things is what i think too. end of discussion for me.

Good points Asher...you have the right perspective!   My own feeling is that conspiracy theories too often seem like Shortcuts to the Truth...and it feels like they are designed to appeal to or by those who want an easy and quick answer or are more concerned about the way something seems or feels from a distance and not so much about the details and facts which only appear if they zoomed closer into the situation.  There is something about them that excites people, moves them and makes them feel like they are masters of a difficult or complex problem...but mostly this is just an illusion....Conspiracy theories are irresistible for sure...they are like big teases which excite us.   I do not know or have put the time into studying all of the facts about Tupac's death and all the surrounding theories, but I am definitely aware that there are a lot of different elements, agendas, and people involved with his death.  I don't think he could be alive either but there is a lot out there that is just weird.

You are right that this show should get its facts straight.  But I think that when there is a lot of blur preventing a clear vision of a situation, people just make things up or look for things that are not there...believe what they want to believe or even take popular notions and opinions as fact....Plus this show looks like it thrives on misinformation, rumor, and all sorts of errors...since all of this creates mystery....and then suspense and drama....and most definitely "Ratings".

This type of show is not legit enough or even equipped enough to properly and respectfully provide an honest discussion, narrative or investigation of this subject anyway.

nice but we would miss read pac now even worse because people love material rap too much people are so far gone they understand pac then or now

Comment by Don H on November 28, 2011 at 7:40pm

maybe...seems like that could be the case judging by lack of depth in music these days...but i don't know if people really love material rap or superficial music and movies or even a bland, superficial culture....there are a lot of comments on old school music videos and even new ones on youtube and  all over the place that proves ppl can see rite thru the music these days...and pac and biggie s time in rap was really Not That long ago....

Tupac's case is an interesting one...cuz he was really young when he passed, so the image of youth could easily be relative to future "younger" generations...and Tupac spent lots of time thinking ahead...and a lot of his decisions work to his benefit in being able to last a long time...

i think CHI- MILLITARY MIND...that if anybody WILL live on into the future and be understood down the road...it's 2pac....cuz wherever there is undiscovered info; uncovered or unfolded depth there will be relevance and a re writing of history...and this will always be a fascination to ppl and an interest to ppl...
